Amantys attracts Experienced Power Electronics Executive to the Board with the appointment of Erwin Wolf as a Non-Executive Director

Cambridge, UK, 28th February 2012 – Amantys Ltd, the intelligent power switch company, announces the appointment of power industry expert and entrepreneur Erwin Wolf to the Board of the company.

Erwin has a vast experience in leading business ventures and advanced technology teams in the field of optoelectronics and power semiconductors primarily with Siemens AG and Infineon AG. Currently Erwin is CEO of Azzurro Semiconductors, supplying GaN on silicon wafers for LED and power semiconductor applications. Prior to Azzurro he was Vice President Technology in power semiconductors at Infineon, and before that, Managing Director at Infineon Fibre Optik GmbH. His 30 year career also includes the role of CEO at OSRAM Opto Semiconductors Inc. and Vice President of Opto Components at Siemens AG, and Infineon with global experience including posts in Malaysia and California.
